HOW CAN I BE A PART OF NAVYOUTH?
If you have a heart for the next generation and would like to see if God is calling you to minister with students, then NavYouth has a place for you! We will invest in your personal ministry growth as you invest in students. There are opportunities to volunteer, intern, or even come on staff!
ARE THERE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES?
Yes! Over the years we have had a number of interns gain first-hand exposure in ministering to high school students the NavYouth way.
- Short Term
Join us for a summer or a semester! Some schools even give credit for internships, and we may qualify!
- Mid Term
We now partner with EDGE Corps*. Gain all that great EDGE training for 1-2 years while ministering to youth! BUT, if EDGE isn't for you, consider volunteering at one of our ministry sites.
* EDGE Corps is a 1-2 year college (and now NavYouth too) ministry opportunity. Participants primarily serve a Campus Trainer in accomplishing their vision for advancing the Gospel of Jesus on the campus. Leading Bible studies, building relationships with students, and being involved in evangelism and discipleship are all part of the EDGE experience. Click here to learn more.
WHERE CAN I SEE NAVYOUTH IN ACTION?
Right now there are currently two NavYouth ministries in the U.S. and one overseas. Stateside ministries can be found in Colorado Springs, CO and Columbia, MD (near Washington D.C.). Our overseas ministry takes place in Yaoundé, Cameroon in Central Africa.
CAN I START MY OWN NAVYOUTH IN MY TOWN?
We would love to see a NavYouth ministry in your town! If you are interested in running your own group, then we are willing to dialogue with you about getting training in Navigator ministry to youth with a goal of starting a new ministry. You might also consider joining us as a volunteer or potential staff at an existing NavYouth site.
